Sponsorship FAQ

What does my sponsorship pay for?
Your monthly gift is pooled with other sponsors to cover each child's food, shelter, clothing, education, medical care, and emotional support. This model ensures every child receives comprehensive care regardless of their individual sponsorship level.
Will I hear from my sponsored child?
Yes! Sponsors receive regular updates including photos, letters, and progress reports. You're welcome to write letters too—we make sure they get delivered and translated.
How much goes directly to Haiti?
83 cents of every dollar goes directly to Haiti operations. We keep overhead low because every dollar matters.
Can I visit the child I sponsor?
When conditions in Haiti allow, we organize "Britsionary" trips for sponsors and supporters. Safety is always our first priority, so trips are scheduled when travel is advisable.
Can I change or cancel my sponsorship?
Yes. You can change your sponsorship level or cancel at any time by contacting us at support@belikebrit.org. We understand circumstances change.
