We don't just care for 66 children. We're building a stronger Grand Goâve — one job, one meal, one partnership at a time.
Many orphanages operate as islands — disconnected from the communities around them. We chose a different path. Brit's Home is woven into the fabric of Grand Goâve.
We employ local workers. We buy from local vendors. We partner with local organizations. When the community thrives, our children thrive too.

Our impact extends far beyond the children in our care.
When there's food left over from our kitchen, it goes to hungry families in Grand Goâve — not to waste. During emergencies, we've served as a distribution point for food relief.
Our water filtration system produces more than we need. Community members can access clean, safe drinking water from our campus — a resource that's scarce in rural Haiti.
When medical teams visit Brit's Home, they don't just see our children. We open our clinic to community members who otherwise have no access to healthcare.
During hurricanes, political unrest, and emergencies, Brit's Home becomes a refuge. Our generator, security, and supplies have sheltered community members when they had nowhere else to go.
Every job at Brit's Home supports an entire family. Every paycheck circulates through the local economy.

We believe in investing in Haiti, not importing solutions.
We buy food, supplies, and materials from Haitian vendors whenever possible — keeping money in the local economy.
We invest in training and professional development for our Haitian staff, building local capacity and leadership.
Our Haiti operations are led by Haitian managers who understand the culture, context, and community.
When we build or repair, we hire local contractors and tradespeople — creating jobs and building skills.
Our garden teaches children about farming while producing food and demonstrating sustainable agriculture.
Solar panels and efficient systems reduce our dependence on Haiti's unreliable power grid.
We work alongside local organizations, churches, and government agencies to maximize our impact.
When you give to Be Like Brit, you're not just helping 66 children — you're strengthening an entire community.
